This entry, if I write everything that I have been doing over the previous weeks will be simply gigantic and in true tradition I won't lj-cut it, just to spite some of you. So right, a week ago today was set to be the last day I would spend in my bed until almost a full week later. For last weekend was MCM Expo weekend. An event lasting two days which normally involves getting drunk, travelling around London with stupid stupid line closures. Although until Sunday night it was pretty smooth sailing.
Without spending too much time going into details about what I did over the weekend I thought I'd do a simple recap of just saying that I spent the weekend with some lovely lovely people and getting out there really cheered me up. Simplicity makes for the most enjoyable nights out. There were some people I wish I could of spent more time with, having only been able to say hello in passing which really sucks. However with the ball on the way and the possibility of three cons before Ame it's shaping up to be quite an excellent adventure. Speaking of the Ball I made Aaron finally buy his ticket. Gothic pimp-master extraordinaire will be joining us

Alot has been going on over the past few weeks that I would really like to write about but every time I try and to a expo or con report I normally get half-way. If I look back I've still yet to finish the may mcm expo report as I think I got about as far as Saturday day with that one. So I'm just going to recap a few basic pieces of information.
I travelled down from Bristol to London on the Friday morning and spent my day travelling and chilling in the hotel we we're meant to be staying in for about four hours before Chevi and Mark showed up. I think my iPod was playing for a full 12 hours as I was listening to it a fair amount the night before I left too. Poor thing struggled to stay alive but atleast it managed to keep me sane until the coach back on the Monday. On the Saturday I entered the Masquerade as Akihiko from P3 and in the evening we got a big group of people together for a chinese meal before heading off for drinks with everyone else at Fox's. After much merryment and us rushing to get the last dlr train to Beckton (even though we technically we had another hour due to the clocks going back) we arrived back in our hotel room with a Ant and a Rich. We had some of our drinks and continued the merryment. Was a great night and the blisters created by wearing my Dad's shoes have died down after bleeding EVERYWHERE.
On the Sunday I took my Freakazoid outfit to the cosplay desk and after a few minutes of unsuccessfully painting my face I gave Andy a call to see if he would help me out. Once that was done I ran around like a lunatic and met loads of people before offering to help out at the Cosplay Desk which was in itself great fun, spending the day relaxing with miiol and stuffs. Meeting CJ was awesome although a bit short lived and I wish I had a bit more time to talk crap with Scarlett but what ya gonna do? Will have to make up for short comings at the Ball.
